The 3D Builder app will be no more installed by default. It is recommended to use the Paint 3D application instead. But if you still wish to use this application you can still download it from Windows Store.

Microsoft Paint

Yes, it has been quite a lot of time this tool has been around. But Microsoft plans to deprecate the tool and eventually remove it from future updates. If you use MS Paint a lot, it is time to get comfortable with other tools as well.

Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET)

EMET is a Windows security tool that can prevent you from vulnerable third party applications. Microsoft plans to remove it from Windows and users should consider using the Windows Defender Exploit Guard as a replacement to EMET.

Outlook Express

Outlook Express was an email client which was discontinued a few years ago. And the latest Windows will come with all its non-functional legacy code removed.

Screen Savers

You might have to say goodbye to screen savers on your computer as they will be no longer available in ‘Themes’. But there might be workarounds available as Screen Savers are only deprecated from Group Policies. But we can expect Microsoft to completely remove Screen Savers from Windows, and the users should use Lock Screen mode widely.

System Image Backups

The built-in utility to create system backups has been deprecated from the Fall Creators Update, and Microsoft recommends to use third party software to perform full system backups.

Syskey

Syskey is a utility that encrypts the hashed password information in a SAM database in a Windows system using a 128-bit RC4 encryption key that, by default, is stored in the Windows registry. It has been claimed that Syskey can increase ransomware risks, so it has been removed from the fall creators update.
