To promote the usage of Bing Search in the UK, Microsoft UK has launched MSN Bing Switch and Win Contest for UK residents.

To enter this contest you have to visit the MSN UK contest page and click the Start Now button. This will download MSNBingSwitchWin.exe.

On running this tool:

  • You will be required to set Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Opera as your default browser
  • Enter your email ID
  • Set MSN as your home page, and
  • Keep Bing as your default search provider.

After doing so the user will be issued with their first unique credit to the weekly prize draw by email.

The prizes include Windows Phone 7 HTC, Asus 1001PX Netbook, XBOX with Kinect, HD Games movie projector and more.

The promotion will end at 11:59pm on Tuesday 17th May 2011.
