Hi – I’ve been using Revo Uninstaller Free version for some time and it’s fantastic. Looks Like the Pro version is similar to my other Favourite, Total Uninstaller. My favourite feature is that it can run portable. I run it from Liberkey on my USB drive. Would love to win Pro version pls.

  • Panayotis

    Revo is my Favorite Uninstaller.
    I use the Free version.
I hope I win the Pro.
    Please, count me in!
    Thank you!!!

  • Michael

    Thanks for your great giveaways.
I like this software because of the efficient cleaning and its easy appliance.
    Please count me in.
    Best regards

  • MerleOne

    Hi all,
I definitely like this software. The Pro feature I like most is the monitoring of installation, making it possible to fully uninstall trial software.
    Thanks for counting me in.

  • Kevin Talley

Hello! Biggest feature in PRO version is the installation monitor feature — hands down! It’s great to be able to see exactly what an install touched in the registry. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Ryan

The feature I like best about Revo Uninstaller Free is that it automatically creates a system restore point before proceeding with the uninstallation of a program and removal of redundant registry entries and files left-over by the built-in uninstaller. This saves me time and headache if in any case the uninstallation goes wrong (so far, it hasn’t). To add to that, the AutoRun Manager is useful for me to quickly remove unnecessary startup items (as compared to usng msconfig)) and the Windows Tools is a great easy all-under-one place for me to access and launch the standard useful Windows programs which are other-wise scattered on the Start Menu.

I had also previously tried the trial version of Revo Uninstaller Pro and was impressed with the other added features especially the real-time monitoring of program installation (create a log of it so that it may be used to completely remove the program later on in the future if the need arises). Unfortunately the trial lasted only for days and I had to revert back to the Free version. As such, I truly hope I can win a license key for the Pro version in this giveaway. (I tend to try out and experiment with tons of apps on my real machine, not on a VM, as such Revo Uninstaller Pro is something that I truly need for a long-term use)

Once again, thanks for having this giveaway.

  • John

Thanks, I like the ability to trace & monitor all system changes made during its installation, and then use that information to uninstall it.

  • Shankar

Revo Free is a good program. Pro version not tried. Thanks for including me.

  • Jim Wade

Been using free version for long time….best free
application I have ever seen….reliable, fast, and most of all, very easy to use.

  • Abhishek

The best feature of Revo Uninstaller is its unique ability to clean the leftover files and registry entries plus its hunting mode.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  • james madigan

Revo removes more registry keys and files unlike other programs.

  • Lex

I love the uninstall option because it removes the programs leftovers.

Over the weekend, a friend decided to upgrade his Vista system to Win7 after continuous problems for 2+ months after installing Norton 360. He was running WebRoot AV SpySweeper 2010 w/o any problems. A geek at Best Buy convinced him into thinking he also needed Norton 360 v4.0!!! We all know Norton is the play ground bully. It won’t play well with any other AV, Spyware, or Firewall software!!! He had tried to uninstall Norton 9 times (even calling Norton Tech for assistance) without success. We all know Norton is like the bad relatives that won’t ever leave, unless you grab the pry bar, hammer, and maybe some dynamite!!!

At a point of total desperation, he was about to do a “clean” install for Win7, but he would have lost important files, docs and pics from Vista. I volunteered my services and that of Revo UnInstaller Pro v2.0 (which I’ve been using about 6 months).

The first pass with Revo didn’t remove all the tentacles of Norton in the Registry (Norton is like a cancerous rootkit in the Registry!!) On the second pass, I used the “Forced Uninstall” and successfully removed “all” traces of Norton including the dlls and all the Registry keys.

Rebooted, and once again his Vista computer was operating smoothly. The WebRoot AV-SpySweeper was operating correctly. I then did a migration update to Win7, keeping all his important files, docs and pics from Vista. When finished, I loaded Vipre v4.0 as a second AV and Firewall line of defense (it plays well with WebRoot and has about a third the footprint of Norton). Needless to say, my friend was very happy with the results (he is indebted for many steak dinners)!!!!

While Revo does create Restore Points and Registry Backup and allow tracking of all changes during an installation, it’s name does include “UnInstaller”….which is the reason I use it…..and “Forced Uninstaller” is the primo feature. It does provide locatons for all folders, sub-folders, dlls, and registry keys if you wish to perform neuro-surgery on the system yourself!!!

The free version of Revo UnInstaller works very well; it does about 80% of what the Pro version does, but the remaining 20% in the Pro version is what sets it apart from the wannabes!!

Quite simply, Revo Uninstaller Pro works totally and completely (every time in 27 uses in the last 6 months)!!!!

Revo SAVES me sooooo much time in cleaning up things left over by uninstalled programs. Makes me happy that my computer can run nice and fast without hassle. Great program and my best friend!

I especially like the way it ‘deep cleans’ the registry while still giving you some control over the process. A clean registry is one of the keys to a healthy PC. Revo Uninstaller is a must-have program for your PC.

  • Joe

I had no idea what was left behind using most programs builtin uninstaller until I viewed the Windows registry. Wow. Revo Uninstaller does a much better job. Thanks for letting me know about this program.

  • Garagantur

    Hi guys,
The built-in uninstallers of most windows applications are crap, they almost ever leave some traces.
I really like the way how reliable Revouninstaller works, with scanning all the remaining data files that usually stay back when only using built in uninstallers (e.g. preferences&profildata) and on top of that it even keeps the registry solid too!
It surely supports keeping up a clean system without any needs of manuel deletion of any files or registry entries afterwards some deletion.
Never understood why third-party software developer create such bad uninstallers in the beginning, but I’m just relieved there is Revouninstaller.
Sure wouldn’t mind to get a license for a reliable application like this!
Anyway I will stick too it, even if it’s just the free version.

Thanks for another great giveaway opportunity. Have been using Revo Uninsaller free version these last few years since its the best at what it does. Like the way it creates restore point and then totally uninstalls a program without leaving out anything. The Pro version can only be much better since it has realtime monitoring during installations.

    Hello friends!
Revo Uninstaller is a top software for me. I’ve been tested several uninstall programs, and this is the best. I hope that I can win this giveaway too, because the Pro version is probaly better then the already good freeware. Thanks a lot! Regards.

  • Andrea Quinn

Revo Uninstaller is an all rounder for removing stubborn programmes from a pc. I especially like the feature that looks for registry entries that can be left behind using Add/Remove programmes. A great programme to have on any pc. I use the free version and the pro version would be an added bonus.

  • Oaken

Revo is simply the best at clearing up the mess which poor uninstallers would leave behind.

My favourite feature is Hunter Mode, which makes life a whole lot easier when getting shot of experimental software from the desktop.

Just a shame the free version can’t do the same for shoddy software writers – but if you grant me a Pro license please – perhaps it might do! :-)

  • http://madeinholt.co.uk madeinholt

    Howdy partners,
I had been using Revo free for sometime until I switched to 64 bit computing. Revo was great because it has loads of cleaning utilities and features all accessable from one neat looking interface. I think it does a bit of uninstalling too ;)

  • Imbert Guy

    Hello,

I have been using Revo for a very long time. I’ve been tested several uninstall programs, and this is the best. I especially like the feature that looks for registry entries that can be left behind using Add/Remove. I hope I can win the license.

  • Khubseerat

Alongside all the other beneficial features this posh software provides, the feature I like the most is that it can remove related left over registry keys. Revo Pro keeps it all clean & smooth. I’d love to be able to use its all features.

  • Grr

    Hi TWC/Optimus,

Thanks for bringing us this opportunity.

  • GENUSE

I like the removal of registry keys and the removal of files left in program data section.
    It really does its job.

  • kbm24

thankyou twc for the chance to win a revo uninstaller. really a great product

the specialities that i adore in revo pro are

    * hunter mode

This is a special, innovative feature of Revo uninstaller which indeed has two sub modes – Hunter mode and Drag and drop mode. These modes are giving you a flexibility to uninstall applications with one click (stop or delete) by simply dragging and dropping program icons to the Hunter icon or selecting their icon with the mouse cursor, whether it’s on the desktop, quick launch toolbar, in the system tray or the program’s window is open.

    * Real-Time Installation Monitor

Revo Uninstaller Pro has a feature that allows monitoring of installation of a program and detects system changes during that installation. The process is done in real time – simultaneously!
This feature is very powerful because by monitoring system changes during the installation, we eliminate all the scanning algorithms when we need to uninstall that program and nevertheless we can still use these algorithms but in another feature called Forced Uninstall.

Forced Uninstall is very useful and powerful program removal feature that is available in Revo Uninstaller Pro! Even when a program is uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller it could leave some leftovers because of the selected uninstall mode or because there is not enough reliable info about the uninstalled program. The user could tell where the leftover files or folders are, and according to that info Revo Uninstaller Pro could scan Windows Registry and the file system for even more related leftovers. Forced Uninstall gives a lot of power to the user but still keeps the safety of the system! It is very useful when the installation is corrupted and cannot continue further. Forced Uninstall is the best solution when you have to remove partially installed programs, partially uninstalled programs, and programs not listed as installed at all.

    * Multi-Level backup system –

guarantees that with Revo Uninstaller Pro you can safely uninstall and remove remnants of programs. Revo Uninstaller Pro creates backups of removed registry keys, values, files and folders. Before each uninstall of a program it creates a System Restore Point. For maximum protection and safety It also makes full registry backup that could be used even when Windows cannot start at all! You can use that registry backup even when some other program, virus or something else has damaged the whole system.

    * Print and Export of the installed programs –

Revo Uninstaller Pro let you to print and/or export all details of your installed programs in few handy file formats. So later if you need to reinstall your software configuration it will be much easier to find and install the right programs that you like and use all the time.

    * Full native 64-bit support –

Revo Uninstaller Pro takes all advantages, power and speed of 64 bit Windows operating systems including the latest Windows 7 64-bit.

Revo Uninstaller Pro scans for leftovers with even more advanced algorithms that are so precise, fast and very effective in search for leftovers of Windows Services, Drivers, File associations, Shell Extensions, COM components, Windows Installer components, program settings and more!

so please put me in the draw and it would be great to win here

    thankyou

  • Rui Costa

The feature I love the most is “Forced Install”. It’s a really useful feature as sometimes I don’t/can’t use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall a piece of software so I can always remove leftovers and keep my system clean.
