Hello! I have been using the free version for quite a while now (for over a year) and I can tell you that Forced Uninstall and Hunter Mode are my favorite options. I believe they are unique to Revo Uninstaller. I would love to receive a Pro version. Thanks in advance!

What I like most is it’s ability to uninstall just anything even if the uninstall is somehow broken and isn’t uninstalling the normal way. I had an annoying program which just won’t uninstallusing add\remove in control panel the uninstall gives an error.
that’s how i got introduced to Revo uninstaller which successfully and easily removed the annoying program, and I’ve been using the free version ever since.

another feature that I just have to mention is how much time it saves me from manually deleting left over files and folders and running registry cleaners after I uninstall something … It does it all in one step.

My favorite feature about the pro version is the real-time system monitoring. That would save me a ton of time, because I wouldn’t have to search the pages of programs I have. Full 64-bit support speeds the entire program up, even better scanning (good riddance, AppData folders), and the brute power, forced uninstall.

I tried various unstallers and with varying results, ranging from Ashampoo to TotalUninstall and Zsoft. TotalUninstall is also good, but not ready for Windows 7. The last year I have only used Revo, which is terrific, especially the Pro Version. Its GUI is very intuitive, and the feature which I like best is the Forced Uninstall option, which is simply great.

I have been using Cleanse Uninstaller as I am installing and uninstalling programs after testing. With this giveaway, I am looking forward to it. Although the freeware version has the ability to scan for leftovers after the standard uninstall, it is better with the PRO version. Its more advanced scanning algorithms is really useful. This gives better clearing of the remnant after uninstall. I love this as it means a more lean OS without the usual bloat after much installing. LOVE this feature.

I have been using free version from about a year ago .
The best feature i like is It automatically creates a System Restore point and thus saves me from any trouble caused due to accidental delete of an important file during un installation.Also the four different modes are extremely useful in different situations .When we want to completely remove an item and we have no plans to install it in future, we can use Advanced mode.
Another thing is we can go back and do a thorough check again if anything has been left over.The start up manager and Shortcut to windows standard tools are all handy.The PRO version has some more enhanced features and I would like to win a copy of it.

Well, i simply love this program because it does all the work for me, it backups the files before deletion, creates a system restore point and deletes the program without thinking too much, so i like it because it’s a girl’s best friend when it comes to cleaning the PC.

My favorite feature is just the cleanup after it installs. If you use any of the other “uninstallers” they all seep to run by constinently running a program in the background to monitor installs and sucks up system resources. Revo is the only one I ever found that doesnt but yet it seems really cleanup every trace of the software. I have been using the free version for years and am now trying the pro version and loving it. It does most of the same but more features, faster and more powerfull. Also, I love the 64 bit compatibility since im running Windows 7 x64, The free version doesnt include true 64 bit support.

I have been using the free version of Revo since it came out, to uninstall unwanted programs. I have also tried other programs out there and even paid for some, but none of them can compare to Revo’s ability to be balanced in removing unwanted registry entries and still be safe enough to use for the average user.

Removing entries from the registry is a risky business if your not sure what your removing, but Revo has been proven to me to be safe to use but effective. It makes a restore point before removing any entries just in case.

I also use the startup tool that allows you to monitor what programs are actually starting up on your computer to keep it running fast.

After the trial of the Pro version ended, I settled for the free version (regular price too expensive for my budget) and never looked for an alternative – there’s no uninstall I do without it.
The features I miss the most now are the “Real-Time installation monitor” (makes uninstall much easier & quicker) and “Forced Uninstall” (ensures you end up with a really clean uninstall of anything).

I would really like to have a license. I use the free version and have been salivating about the Pro version. Since, I don’t have a job right now I have been holding off on upgrading.

I have “trialed” the Pro version and like the features. I have to say that the feature I like the most is the Installation monitor. This helps when uninstalling an app. Revo Uninstaller Pro reverses the installation by looking at the installation monitor file and reversing the entries there.

I have to say I am curious about how accurate these entries are because they are not readable by a regular text editor. But, even after using the installation monitor file for the uninstall, Revo Uninstaller Pro will still scan the registry and system to find leftovers that can be “optionally” deleted or removed by the user.

Monitoring and installation is pretty important (to me anyway). I installed an virus and firewall app and it took me a solid day to find and remove all of the files and entries left over after a regular uninstall. This was even after I used that company’s special uninstaller! If I had monitored the installation with Revo Uninstall Pro, I am sure that this would have not been the case and a lot less hassle!

Looking forward to using the Pro version. Pretty slick and a little faster too!

I have used Revo uninstaller since it’s beta days and haven’t looked back. The main feature that I use it for, the ability to remove all registry keys associated with a program to be removed. The second feature is, removal of short cuts and empty folders that were used by the program removed. This in it self makes it all the worth while. If you don’t use this program then you are not a real nerd or techie. I am an IT specialist so for whatever that is worth.

I am a longtime Your Uninstaller Pro user,from the competitor Ursoft.
I never tried Revo Uninstaller Pro ’till today,but I must say that I’m very impressed with it!
The realtime installation monitor gives this program a big advance over Ursoft’s YUP,because even the registry keys without a name reference to the installed program can be removed this way.
Every decent uninstaller should have this option,too bad I didn’t know that @ the time I got Your Uninstaller Pro.
I hope to win 1 of those licenses,so that I finally can uninstall my unwanted programs COMPLETELY…..

Its “hunter mode” where you can force uninstall the software by drag and drop the shortcut. Thanks for the great giveaway. I have used the free version for quite awhile. I downloaded and used the Pro 30 day trial a couple months ago and loved it. The thing I liked best was in the free version you have to manually put a check in every left over registry key the program finds in order to delete them. That can be time consuming and increases the chance of deleting a registry by mistake. In the Pro version it automatically puts a check in all of the registry leftovers for you, all you have to do is hit the delete button. Its a great program, just hard to let go of $40. Thanks again.

In my opinion,Revo Uninstaller is one of the “must have” utilities for any system just like Winrar and Winamp.It really lives up to it’s fame.So obviously I have installed it on my laptop.The feature that impresses me most is that it is able to log the changes made during the intalltion of an app in realtime!!.Moreover,it’s ability to integrate this feature in the context menu of “exe” and “msi” files is the icing on the cake.On the other hand,other uninstallers use the method of creating snapshots of the system before and after the installaton and comparing the two snapshots later on to create a log of the changes made.Now this method is very cumbersome for anyone who frequently installs software.So keeping in mind the things I have said above,I would definitely like to be included in the giveaway.

Its without a doubt the best there is… Its the only program that can remove every trace of a program you no longer want.. I’ve always used the “Advanced Mode” and it complete removes every Registry entry and any other “leftovers” the built-in installers always leave behind…

This is always one of the very first programs I install on a new computer (after my anti-virus/anti-spyware program and Windows Updates). It has saved me many times over with programs you no longer want or you find didn’t live up to their “hype”, etc)…

I’m very anxious to be able to try the “real-time monitoring” feature in the Pro version.. will make it even easier to be able to maintain and protect my computer.

What I like the best about Revo is its ability to comprehensively find all the left over files and registry keys left over after the normal uninstaller runs. At times I’ve been shocked had how much garbage software vendors leave behind. On the flip side, you also get a sense for who the the good vendors are too if Revo doesn’t report a truckload of leftovers.

Another fantastical feature is its hunter mode which helps track down rouge installs that haven’t registered their uninstalls properly. With Revo, you can still flush them out and down the drain.

Revo is one of the few must have utilities.

I would like to get a license for Revo Uninstaller Pro please. I have used the free / trial version in the past.

As for feature I would like the most, I would like to be able to start it just before I install a program and have it watch everything the program installs so that it makes sure it can uninstall everything.

I would try out the free / trial version right now, but I use Windows 7 64 bit edition and only the Pro version works in 64 bit…which is why I am asking for a license please.

and very satisfied with it.
One of the feature that I really like about this uninstaller is:

The main thing I noticed about revo uninstaller is that it gets rid of “junk” that I did not know was being left behind until it asked me if I wanted to do a deeper scan. Once I saw all the stuff the regular uninstall left behind, I realized how little I knew about uninstalls. I am somewhat new to using uninstaller but with revo, I can now uninstall programs and not have to pay someone to help me clean up my PC.

I also like the way it displays all the programs at one time. You can uninstall programs that you seldom use, expired, and the junk that never functioned properly and programs you have no idea where it came from.

It’s great app I’m using instead of build in win uninstaller. The best is its option to choose level of cleaning with detailed results leaving it up to me, what is going to go and what needs to stay untouched. The feature I like best is it’s ability to find remnants of things I’d long ago removed, or thought I had. What I like from the free version are the Advanced Mode of Uninstall Methods for more clean result and its Hunter Mode which generates icon to icon uninstallation. For safety reason, we can also set for leftover files and folders to be dumped into Recycle Bin from Options on the Task Bar.

If there were cons of Revo, that would be Batch Uninstaller. I hope to see this feature in the future version of Revo Uninstaller.

The feature I like best about Revo Uninstaller Free is that it automatically creates a system restore point before proceeding with the uninstallation of a program and removal of redundant registry entries and files left-over by the built-in uninstaller. This saves me time and headache if in any case the uninstallation goes wrong (so far, it hasn’t). To add to that, the AutoRun Manager is useful for me to quickly remove unnecessary startup items (as compared to usng msconfig)) and the Windows Tools is a great easy all-under-one place for me to access and launch the standard useful Windows programs which are other-wise scattered on the Start Menu.

I had also previously tried the trial version of Revo Uninstaller Pro and was impressed with the other added features especially the real-time monitoring of program installation (create a log of it so that it may be used to completely remove the program later on in the future if the need arises). Unfortunately the trial lasted only for days and I had to revert back to the Free version. As such, I truly hope I can win a license key for the Pro version in this giveaway. (I tend to try out and experiment with tons of apps on my real machine, not on a VM, as such Revo Uninstaller Pro is something that I truly need for a long-term use)

Over the weekend, a friend decided to upgrade his Vista system to Win7 after continuous problems for 2+ months after installing Norton 360. He was running WebRoot AV SpySweeper 2010 w/o any problems. A geek at Best Buy convinced him into thinking he also needed Norton 360 v4.0!!! We all know Norton is the play ground bully. It won’t play well with any other AV, Spyware, or Firewall software!!! He had tried to uninstall Norton 9 times (even calling Norton Tech for assistance) without success. We all know Norton is like the bad relatives that won’t ever leave, unless you grab the pry bar, hammer, and maybe some dynamite!!!

At a point of total desperation, he was about to do a “clean” install for Win7, but he would have lost important files, docs and pics from Vista. I volunteered my services and that of Revo UnInstaller Pro v2.0 (which I’ve been using about 6 months).

The first pass with Revo didn’t remove all the tentacles of Norton in the Registry (Norton is like a cancerous rootkit in the Registry!!) On the second pass, I used the “Forced Uninstall” and successfully removed “all” traces of Norton including the dlls and all the Registry keys.

Rebooted, and once again his Vista computer was operating smoothly. The WebRoot AV-SpySweeper was operating correctly. I then did a migration update to Win7, keeping all his important files, docs and pics from Vista. When finished, I loaded Vipre v4.0 as a second AV and Firewall line of defense (it plays well with WebRoot and has about a third the footprint of Norton). Needless to say, my friend was very happy with the results (he is indebted for many steak dinners)!!!!

While Revo does create Restore Points and Registry Backup and allow tracking of all changes during an installation, it’s name does include “UnInstaller”….which is the reason I use it…..and “Forced Uninstaller” is the primo feature. It does provide locatons for all folders, sub-folders, dlls, and registry keys if you wish to perform neuro-surgery on the system yourself!!!

The free version of Revo UnInstaller works very well; it does about 80% of what the Pro version does, but the remaining 20% in the Pro version is what sets it apart from the wannabes!!

Quite simply, Revo Uninstaller Pro works totally and completely (every time in 27 uses in the last 6 months)!!!!
