Macro Tube is a cool plugin for Windows Media Center. This plugin will allow us to watch YouTube, Daily Motion and MSN Soapbox videos in Windows Media Center.  Simply download and install the plugin and you’ will find “Macro Tube” as an option in Media Center.

Just click on what ever service you want. For example click on YouTube it will few random videos.

You could click on search to search the videos you want.

Click on the video to play it.

  • Revamped search function which remembers previous searches, uses Google search suggestions, and uses the built-in on-screen keyboard
  • The ability to add and remove providers from within the program (the manage providers link on the providers page)
  • Categories now wrap when navigating past the first/last item
  • Fixed the problem with multiple searches causing issues, and added the ability to configure how many previous searches will remain visible
  • Added some new automatic update functionality to notify users when a new version is available
  • Numerous minor cosmetic changes and tweaks.

    The one drawback for Macro Tube for YouTube is I cannot use it on my YouTube account

    Wish there was a way to buffet any YouTube, because in the evenings, YouTube is unuseable for me

    Some things allow pausing of the video to do it, but too many, for some reason do not

    I am surprised Google cannot solve this problem

    But, Macro Tube is interesting, but maybe more so as time goes along

    Like the idea
