The Case of The Jumping Windows 7 Start Menu

Speed Up My PC

Well, the Windows 7 Start Menu, like all Windows start menu’s is fixed to the left side of the taskbar near the Start Button.

Click on the Start Orb and and the Start Menu pops up there itself, attached to the taskbar.

On very rare occasions when I have clicked on  the start button, and maybe, moved the cursor a bit, my start menu has got detached from the taskbar! Click on the start button again -  the start menu will close!

Fortunately I was able to capture its screen-shots on 2 occasions.

I have been unable to reproduce this on demand, inspite of several attempts, so I don’t know how  or when it exactly happens!

But I found it intriguing and was just wondering if anyone else had faced this situation!

If you have, or have some light to throw on this ‘case’, please do share below in the comments section.
