I think the most important thing for Microsoft is to price the Surface RT at a price that is slightly lower than the Apple iPAD. My take is that Surface RT will be a decent competitor if Microsoft does not screw up on the apps and marketing front. Surface Pro is competing with the ultrabooks and hence unless it is priced quite low it may not work well.
