Shortcut key to open another instance of same application
In Windows 7, When working within an application, like say, Word, you may just want to open up another instance or window of Word.
You can always right click on its taskbar icon and select the option to open another instance.
Alternatively, you can simply hold down Shift key and click on its taskbar icon.
That’s it!
