Reboot & then Hibernate your Windows computer with Boot Snooze

Speed Up My PC

Most of us either Hibernate our Windows computers or put it on Stand by, thereby missing out the sometimes beneficial advantages of the occasional reboot. Windows works better when it is completely shutdown and then started up again, every once in a while. If you want to get the benefit of a restart yet not want to wait those few minutes for your Windows to boot up, you might want to check out Boot Snooze.

Yeah but the problem is after restart all the apps we use complete with their open documents are not automatically restored. So once you restart, you lose half the point of hibernation as whatever time you save starting Windows quickly on a fresh restart, you’d still spend all that time restoring your browsers tabs, open apps and documents. Maybe in the future when all programs use the Windows Restart Manager API to automatically restore their state when they are closed and opened again, this would make sense.
