I have read everything to read on the linked site. I could not find anything saying it supports Windows 7. Found the following question on their support forums. “Is there a new version of ncleaner available for use on Windows 7?” It was asked on 26 Nov 2009, yet today remains unanswered. Before downloading/installing, I would scroll through the forum. Problems do exist and questions remain just that…..questions with no answers. Look before you leap. http://www.nkprods.com/forum/index.php?board=3.0

it works fine on windows 7 if you need a good cleaner and not sure check this cleaner out > ccleaner < its been around for years here is the link http://www.piriform.com/ it works great on windows 7

  • brian

i must say the piriform cleaner is best out of the two you have the option of backing up your system which is always best with cleaners otherwise you may find you will have to system restore. the registry is a vital part of windows and one minor key removal can cause a bigger problem than you may think, iuse the ccleaner with no problems the website explains in detail how to use it.

    CCleaner is the best.

NCleaner is dangerous because it scans for file extensions that are known to be junk to remove such as .tmp.

The problem with this, is some applications use a .tmp for calendar templates (iphoto 4 does, for example).

This is only 1 example. CCleaner is safe because instead of scanning for extensions, it has a built in list of locations for example, the IE default temp folder, the Firefox default temp folders, etc etc to remove the junk, so it ALWAYS goes to the known (and safe place) to remove the junk!

Until they correct this problem, it will NOT be safe to use!
