Microsoft Office 2010 Prices in India

Microsoft India announced the availability of Office 2010, at all large format retail stores across the country. The product has been launched to businesses in India and across the world.

Office 2010 is now available in 240 countries and 10 languages, and will expand to 254 countries and 94 languages which include 12 Indian languages.

These will include Hindi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, Oriya, and Assamese.

The price of retail versions of Office 2010 are:

  • Office Home & Student (FPP) – INR 4,999 (Estimated Retail Price)
  • Office Home & Business (FPP) – INR 10,999 (Estimated Retail Price).

    Wow! That’s really expensive. Why are they being so short sited by pricing it so high in such an important market? They made huge price adjustments for China as I recall, why not India?
