While at 10:30 PST on September 15, everybody hogged Microsoft servers to watch the Internet Explorer 9 beta release webcast, download, and read more about the features, most missed the refresh at Microsoft Answers accommodating the new member in the Windows family of products.

Early in the day, I could notice the announcement to get the IE9 beta added to the Windows homepage amongst getting IE9 beta forums up and about. The support engineers have seeded IE9 Beta QAs to forums as well.
- Internet Explorer name/logo is added to the home page of Microsoft Answers site. However, Internet Explorer forum is not a Top Level Category and it still resides under the Windows Ecosystem (Windows 7, Vista and XP), etc.

- “Metadata” has been added to the Internet Explorer forums. When users ask a question, users are promoted to provide information on their operating system version and IE version. With that, questions can be understood better and users can find data they are looking for more easily when they search data in forums.
- When searching threads the ability now exists to filter by OS or IE version , including IE 9 beta.
Have you downloaded the Internet Explorer 9 Beta yet?
