Internet Explorer’s market share falls below 60%

The falling market share should be cause for serious concern to Microsoft.  According Statcounter IE’s share has dropped below 60%! 

 

For the very first time, Internet Explorer has fallen below 60% market share mark, from 62.09% to 59.49%

Firefox has finally surpassed 30% market share mark, went up from 28.75% to 30.33%

Nearing its final, version 10 release, Opera web browser also increased its market share by 0.13, from 3.23% to 3.36%

With the launch of Safari 4 final, this web browser market share went up by 0.28 points, from 2.65% to 2.93%

Google Chrome continues its growth, up by 0.4, from 2.42% to 2.82%
