Intel AppHub – Your source for downloading netbook apps

The Intel AppUp center is a service that allows end consumers to browse a centralized catalog of applications for purchase or download to your netbook, laptop or other personal computing device.

Intel has gathered some of its favorite apps for having a good time, and you can discover more apps that deliver serious fun by browsing their collection at Intel AppUp Center.

Applications are available for many different categories including social, education, entertainment, communications etc.

Downloading of free applications  is supported from any country. Purchasing applications is limited to certain countries. At this time, they are only supporting addresses and payment information from these countries: USA, Canada, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India, Philippines and Singapore.

To start using it you will have to first, download the Intel AppUp software to your netbook right from this website. Follow the installation instructions, then click the Intel AppUp software icon on your desktop to run the program. Now you can browse the ever-growing app collection and install the ones you like on your computer.

The Intel AppUp center and the applications available in the store catalog are generally intended for use on netbooks using Intel® Atom™ based processors with 10″ screens and default resolutions of 1024×600. The Intel AppUp(SM) center does not prevent installation or execution based on the CPU type, model, manufacturer and / or speed although systems must meet minimum requirements for the supported Internet browser. It works on Windows 7 and Windows XP.
