Let us take a quick glance at Technical Specifications of HTC Radar.

Technical Specifications of HTC Radar

Review of HTC Radar

White silver shaded HTC Radar leaves a positive first impression in mind. The bottom of the device features a gray colored removable cover, that consists of SIM card slot. Sadly, its memory is not expandable, so it doesn’t sport a memory card slot. Battery also cannot be removed and thus is sealed under the back cover. As soon as one removes the back cover, the device turns off to prevent any injuries to the user while swapping SIMs. Despite the RAM being 512 MB, the device hardly loses any pace when multiple apps are open, thanks to the efficiency of Mango. However, multitasking is still a little bit irksome on this Mango Phone.

The S-LCD display of HTC Radar is brilliantly designed. It is rich and bright with excellent viewing angle. Colors appear sharp and vibrant with images providing a crisp output. In terms of image quality, Radar stands distinguished from many 3.8 inched devices in market. The unibody design of Radar feels sturdy and solid in one’s hands. The battery life is one more plus point of Radar; it can last up to 18 hours also, even when used continuously.

The camera of HTC Radar is a performer. Even in low light, it promises sharp and clear images, thanks to LED flash. In terms of recording, VGA quality is set as default. However, its rear camera is capable of capturing 720p videos with good audio quality. The front camera is also VGA and can be used for video calling purpose.

HTC Radar is loaded with many Mango Apps like Zune Pass. These apps appear different than those on other devices in market, which doesn’t leave Radar with an app launcher tag. Zune Pass, Facebook, Twitter, Windows Marketplace are some of the names. HTC has also included its own apps for better performance and uninstall options. It is the icing on a cake for users who want pure Mango experience. The main screen can ofcourse be customized according to user’s needs. Tiles of Metro UI flashes selected apps making access to them quite easy.
