Whenever you start Windows 8 | 7 computer, by default, you are required to present your logon password credentials in order to proceed. This is a good security measure as it prevents unauthorised use of your computer, and one must always password-protect the use of your computer using this feature.
However if you are the only user and if you do not wish to password-protect your Windows PC, and would prefer to bypass the login screen and land directly on your desktop, you can turn it off and enable automatic Log On to Windows 7 | 8.
Turn off Windows login screen in Windows 8 | 7
To do so, open Run box, type control userpasswords2 and hit Enter. Alternatively, in Windows 8 start screen, type netplwizand hit Enter, This will open the User Accounts settings window.
Under the Users tab, un-check Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
Clip Apply > OK. Reboot.
Once you have done this you will fin that you will be able to automatically log in to your Windows computer without seeing the login screen and having to enter your password or credentials.
