Since the release of iOS 5, more than 2 million customers have connected Hotmail to iPods, iPhones or iPads and almost 100,000 new iOS 5 devices are being set up with Hotmail every day!

Last year Hotmail added support for Exchange Active Sync allowing mobile phone users to sync their Hotmail Inboxes, Calendars and Contacts. And now with the release of iOS 5, it has become more easier to set up Hotmail, Live, or MSN email accounts by providing a separate option for Hotmail, which we had already seen in our earlier post.
You can see in the image sourced from the Windows Team Blog, that more than 60% are on iPhones of which nearly 25% are on the new iPhone 4S.
Just yesterday, Google released its new Gmail app for iOS devices, but it created a mess with it. Getting angry reactions from users, it had to pull out the app from the stores.
Talking of Smartphones, Hotmail apart from iOS, does support Windows Phones, Nokia, BlackBerry, and the new Android Client.
So whichever smartphone you have, it’s a great time to Switch To Hotmail.
