Google acquires BumpTop – Rush to download the free version!

Google has acquired BumpTop. As a result, BumpTop said it will now stop selling the Pro version of the app immediately and take down the free version of BumpTop after one week.

“Today, we have a big announcement to make: we’re excited to announce that we’ve been acquired by Google! This means that BumpTop, for both Windows and Mac, will no longer be available for sale. Additionally, no updates to the products are planned.

For the next week, we’re keeping BumpTop Free available for download  to give BumpTop fans one last chance to grab a copy.”

BumpTop is a fun, intuitive 3D desktop that keeps you organized and makes you more productive.

    Estimated download time. 3 hours! I have a very fast connection. People must be hitting this free download pretty hard. Hope the server doesn’t go down.

    When the DL finished it said it was corrupted. I found a mirror download which is the same free version as they are offering on the Bump Top website. http://download.chip.eu/en/BumpTop-Free_4870044.html

    I like my desktop clean and this is just right. I have used Fences since it was in beta but I think Bump Top will replace it. Thanks! ;)
