I’m in the process of evaluating the different versions of Office 2010 for eventual installation on Windows XP and Windows 7 machines. A local free college for seniors will be deploying Office 2010 on their classroom computers this fall. Their decisions will be influenced, in part, by my recommendations. Since I’m not charging them for this work, any assistance in the form of an e-book like this will be greatly appreciated>

  • ErnieK

With Office 2010,like all new software, there is a steep learning curve. To help and enable a user to fully understand it, also to make, and get full use of Office 2010, a clear and concise “manual” is required. To help the user break-down the abilities and capabilities of Office 2010 into manageable, easy learning steps a book such as this is the exact tools for doing so.

  • http://reviewofweb.com/ Ankur Jain

I have recently made a switch to Office 2010 from Office 2003. There is a big difference between the two versions.

There is a lot of info available on the net for 2003 and earlier versions but 2007/2010 still has time to catch up with.(for obvious reasons)

Just yesterday I have to do a lot of R and D to find the “Allow Cell Drag and Drop” option in Excel 2010 and finally ended up writing a blog post on it. Check my blog link above.

I hope this book will smoothen my learning curve.

  • Colleen Cole

I have Microsoft Office 2010 Pro Plus – upgraded from…2002…so much is different – I could really use the help. So I am hoping the contest is still open!

    .
Ok, just found this webSite but I’ll still give it a shot.
I train people with a vision impairment to use technology, primarily computer training.
Additional resources are always advantageous for try navigating the Office Ribbon without your vision – a nightmare indeed. One requires skilling in the use, action and navigation of shortcuts for any task though and the ribbon is indeed, a task in itself.
