    You can’t beat WinX DVD Ripper Platinum. It’s the best DVD ripper hands down in my book. It’s lightening fast (like 4X faster than other popular rippers I’ve tried) and will produce AVI, MP4, MPEG, WMV, FLV, MOV, MP3 (if you just want the audio) as well as rip to specific device requirements like ipod, ipad, iphone, AppleTV, PSP, 3GP, Zune and Zen.

    It’s flexibility might be a little intimidating at first but you get great results using the default settings. From there you’ll learn how to make adjustments to best meet your needs.

    If you are lucky enough to win a license, trust me, it will become your most frequently used DVD tool.

    If there was one tweak I’d like to see to the program it would be the ability to trim the output so long, useless intros and credits could be easily removed. Currently I use Solveig AVItrimmer for that task.

    I’m an old guy. I lose stuff (like DVDs). Being able to back them up to HD BEFORE they disappear might help prevent getting yelled at.

    With two kids, the safety of our physical DVD’s is NEVER guaranteed, short of keeping them locked up in a safe. Having software like this to move the info on to a server that we can stream to our TV instead of physically handling the media means that the shows and movies we spend our money on will survive for MANY more years than they would have. WinX DVD Ripper Platinum means that we would be able to purchase a new DVD for the kids and have it up and available for them to watch in minutes instead of close to an hour that other rippers have given us (only supporting one core instead of multiple cores).

    All I Can say is “Thank You All At the Windows Club” and the Good Lord for bringing me to your website!!! You have truely Helped in fixing my Poor Old Broken Down Dell Laptop that I am currently running Vista Ultimate Sp2 on! So, my Intel “Inside” Graphics Driver, and attached Hardware on “Chip”, is my worst issue (since there are no updates/nor will be in future!) And Although, I am unable to open, or even use, Vista’s DVD or Movie Maker Programs on my Poor OLD Laptop, I would LOVE WINNING A Lic.     Thanks for holding this giveaway. I’d could really use this software.
    I’ve got two children in college. They regularly take our “family” DVDs (legally purchased) with them to school. Of our 300 or so DVDs, only about half end up staying at home during the school year. I could use this software to make backups of the movies so that we who stay at home can enjoy them.

    I have a whole library of DVD’s that I would like to ripper to a hard drive array but no decent ripper. A decent ripper would allow me to watch movies any time I want.

    It’s about time. I really think ripping a phone book is easier than ripping DVDs. Finally, a professional solution that can rip those DVDs!

    DVD Ripper Platinum appears to be an excellent product. Lots of features for ripping. I am not used to that! Look forward to using this software. Besides, my hands are getting tired…

    I create an assortment of tutorial dedicated CD/DVD teaching/learning aides for a lot of schools which requires ripping from various CD/DVDs, web material, and existing data across 6 hard drives and 3 computers, depending on what the school and/or teacher wants for the day or course. It would be nice to have a software package that was good enough to do this type work with a single setup for processing start to finish rather than having to do it in multiple stages. Nero will do it but only if setup and done in 3 – 7 stages; and Roxio is a joke; it won’t recognize multiple computer hard drives in network!!!

    WinX DVD Ripper Platinum would be a very valuable tool since it recognizes multi-core processors and is tweaked for Win 7, and it has the capability to rip to iPad specs which a lot of my schools are now using.

    If you are going on a long journey? On holiday? and want to take a few videos with you. Or even just want to copy your videos to your PC for convenience or to ensure that you have a good back-up of valuable DVD’s then this is the perfect tool\software for this. Because it allows for backing-up to different types of video files it need not take up lot of valuable HDD space either

    Hi,

    I would love a copy of this software, as we have 5 children and our grandaughter also lives with us. The problem is I have found quite a lot of my DVD’s damaged, due to little fingers getting to them while I’m not around. I am disabled, so if I see her starting to play with them, by the time I get to her it’s already marked.

    I would really like to keep backups on my HDD or store all my originals on top of the wardrobe and just leave back-up’s in the boxes.

    Hello! First, My Bday is the Aug. 27th, so this would be a GREAT! Bday present. =)) ..And I found your site while search’n for a discount copy to buy for my Bday. hehe.
    ..I have got about 2 yrs of video on my pc & extra harddrives do to it taking so LONG to burn. My kidos do alot of sports and we record every game, plus every other event in their life. LoL.
    So put me to work for my Bday with WinX Plat! =)) I can’t think of anything I’d rather be do’n.. All us go’n thru our family videos & finally burn’n them & get’n to watch’em on our TV! Yep would be a GREAT gift! =))
