While Microsoft may have made significant & useful changes to Taskbar and Start Menu in Windows 7, there may still be some Windows Classic Start Menu & Windows Explorer toolbar loyalists who may want to see it back in their Windows 7.

For all such there is a freeware application called Classic Shell that can help you here!

Classic Shell is a collection of features that were available in older versions of Windows but not anymore. It brings back the classic start menu that Windows 7 doesn’t support, adds a toolbar for Windows Explorer in Vista and Windows 7 like the one in Windows XP and adds couple more smaller features.

Classic Shell has two core parts: A Classic Start Menu,  A clone of the original start menu & a Classic Explorer, a plug-in for Windows Explorer.
