If you have downloaded the Windows Live Movie Maker for Windows 7, you may have noticed that it is stripped down version of its earlier avatar, with much lesser features.
Microsoft has consciously planned to take the product in a different direction, as a result of which the new Windows Live Movie Maker is not going to have the same features as the old Windows Movie Maker.
If you’d like to get the feature rich Windows Movie Maker back, you can download its v2.6 from Microsoft and install it on your Windows 7.
