Most free PDF readers allow us to only open and view PDF documents. There are also many free online tools which allow us to create PDF Documents. If are on a platform like Microsoft Windows, you can get software like Microsoft Word, then its even more easy to create PDF documents. Just Save them as PDF documsts. While you can also use Google Chrome to save web Pages as PDF, the browser has no ability to covert documents, for that you might have to either opt for software or online tools.
PDF documents are mainly used for security along with protection of the data and its information. For this purpose, we use security passwords to protect our crucial data to be always protected. In this article, we will show you how to create and convert any printable documents into PDF along with adding extra security in the form of passwords.
For this purpose, we use PrimoPDF, a tool which can be used to convert PDF documents even if you are opening a web page in browser or in Word document, and if that is in printable format, then it can be converted into appropriate PDF format.
Once you download and install PrimoPDF on your Windows, then you will have to select PrimoPDF option available on Print window rather than selecting a physical printer option.
This process is very similar to that of creating and saving application in your local system.
Now the next step will be to get a free application named BeCyPDFMetaEdit which is used to add a password to PDF document or even can remove the password if already its there.
Once you are done with the installation, you can then go on with “Security Settings Panel” and choosing the “Security” tab, and select “High Encryption Password Protection” and then enter your password. You can also select the appropriate restriction to put on to that file.
