While announcing that he was back to blogging, Ray Ozzie shared a a folder of collaterals from the Windows 1.0 launch event.

“Inside a sealed packet I found a wonderful artifact from decades ago – a folder of collaterals from the Windows 1.0 launch event. It was possibly handed to me at that time by Pam Edstrom, whose business card was enclosed” states Ray Ozzie.

He has scanned the documents and uploaded them on Docs.com for all to access.

Docs.com from Microsoft Fuse Labs, is the Cloud extension of Office 2010, designed for Facebook users.

Windows 1.0 was was the first version of Windows and was released on 20 November 1985. It was a 16-bit graphical operating environment and was Microsoft’s first attempt to implement a multi-tasking graphical user interface-based operating environment on the PC platform.
