Microsoft has released a hotfix to to fix an issue, where a burning operation fails with a time-out error, when you try to burn files to a DVD-R Dual Layer (DL) disc in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2.

If you have been experiencing issues while burning files to a DVD-R Dual Layer (DL) disc in Windows Explorer, in Window 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, and you have encoutered situations where the operation has failed with a time-out error, you can now download and apply this hotfix to fix this problem.
