Just when you thought that it would be atleast a while before Mozilla updated its Firefox browser to the next version, news comes that Firefox 8 final version has been released!

It was just a little over a month that Mozilla had released Firefox 7, but now Firefox 8 final version for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems is now available for download.
This update includes new features that make Web browsing easier and give users and developers more control over how they customize their Web experience.
Twitter is now included as a search option in Firefox 8 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Twitter search will now make it easier for you to search for and discover new topics, #hashtags and @usernames. Twitter search is currently available in English, Portuguese, Slovenian and Japanese versions of Firefox, with more languages to come in future releases.
The new version also puts you in control as far as add-ons are concerned. Firefox 8 will disable add-ons installed by third parties without your permission and then let you pick the ones you want to keep.
Firefox 8 adds support for Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS), which lets developers load WebGL textures from other domains in a secure way
