Google has announced that that it has made change that will make the Google +1 Button load 3 times faster on your website.

You may have noticed that the Google +1 button used to a while to load; but not any more! Google has began to roll out changes that will increase the rendering speed on your website by 3 times.

This 3x faster change will be automatic and you dont need to change your code, says Google.

But in addition to this, Google has introduced a new asynchronous snippet. This async snippet allows your web page to continue loading while your browser downloads the +1 JavaScript.

By loading these elements in parallel, Google is ensuring that the HTTP request to get the +1 button JavaScript does not lead to an increase in your page load time.

Those of you who have already implemented the button, will need to update the code to the new async snippet. You will then be able to see an  improvement in your page load time.
