Right now here at Anaheim,CA , I witnessed one of the riskiest product announcement from Microsoft. Microsoft today, showed a preview of Windows 8 operating system at the Windows Build Conference. Windows 8 is a new breed of operating system from Microsoft that completely changes the environment and the user interface it provides to users.
As its said, the more user friendly it is, the tougher is for developer, but as a paradox to same Microsoft has also pushed its developer tools along with which can create magic in just a few lines of codes.
All Build attendees will be given a SAMSUNG notebook with developer version of Windows 8 running over it along with tools required. However if you are not present at Build, Microsoft has announced that they are going to release Windows 8 Developer Preview build to public at 8PM PDT tonight.
You can download the Windows 8 Developer Preview. This includes a 64-bit (x64) build with development tools to build apps, and a 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) build without development tools. The releases also include a suite of sample applications developed by college interns at Microsoft and won’t be shipped with Windows 8 but are for demo purposes only.
