Microsoft has brought new and interesting features in Windows 10 Anniversary Update. In the same update, Cortana has been integrated with other Windows 10 Apps to provide you traffic update, reminders and allowing you to search within your system using voice commands. It also has an option to turn it OFF whenever you do not need it. But, do you know that Cortana shows lyrics of a YouTube Video that is currently playing in Microsoft Edge browser? Yes, in this article I will let you know how to find the lyrics of a YouTube video using Cortana in Edge browser.

Use Cortana to find Lyrics of YouTube Video in Edge

One of the features introduced in Windows 10 Anniversary Update works well with the combination of YouTube and Cortana in Edge browser to show lyrics of a video. It also allows you to pin beside the playing video so that you can watch both video and lyrics side by side. So, without any ado, let us jump into it.

First, launch Edge browser and open any musical video in YouTube. While the video is playing, you will see the Cortana to the left of ‘Reading View’ icon in Edge identify the video and ask you “Want the lyrics?” question. Click on that icon.

You will see the right panel being opened normally where ‘Settings’ are shown and in few seconds, lyrics for the current video will be shown. It also shows you the title of the album, name of the artist and the duration of the video.

If you click on any place on the page, the panel showing the lyrics will be closed and you need to open it again. But, you can pin the pane by clicking on the ‘Pin’ icon which is shown on the right side of the panel.

You can find the full lyrics by scrolling down. Cortana fetches lyrics using Bing search engine and it also shows the source website in ‘Data from’ field.

You can also send the feedback like – Suggest, Like, and Dislike by clicking on the message icon shown on the bottom left of the pane, and even enter your comments of a maximum 400 characters.
