Connect Google account to Windows Live account

You can now connect your Google Account to your Windows Live account. By connecting your Google account to your Windows Live account, you will be able to view status updates, post status updates, integrate contacts directly to/from your Windows Live account. If your accounts are connected any update in your Google account will get automatically reflected in your Windows Live account.

There are already 88 services, like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blogger, etc,  that Windows Live lets you connect to. Google therefore becomes the 89th service that you will now be able to connect to your Windows Live account.

To do so, click here. You will have to log in to your Windows Live account if you are not already logged in. Once you are logged in, you will be asked if  you would like to connect the account and if you would like to also see your Google contacts whenever you are signed in to Windows Live.

Once you click on Connect Google, you will be taken to Google.com where you will be asked if you would like to Allow Access.

Clicking on Allow Access will connect the two accounts.

Ofcourse the social feeds of Google+ will not be available here in your Live, Messenger or Windows Phone. But who knows, this might change in the future too.

Hat Tip.
