This is one program your kids may like; especially if they are not geeks! ClickStar2 is a portable app which generates stars on your Windows desktop, when you move the mouse cursor or click on something.
You can configure it to generate stars on a click and / or a move, the number of stars and also tell it to react on keyboard shortcuts too!
