Yesterday we saw how to change Windows 8 cursor thickness & blinking rate to make it more visible via the Ease of Access tab in PC Settings. Today we will see how to increase or decrease the time, for which toast notifications are displayed by Windows 8, in the top right corner.

Change Notifications display time in Windows 8

You can always enable or disable Toast Notifications in Windows 8 completely. But if you wish to only change the display time, open the Charms Bar > Settings > PC Settings. Click on Ease of Access.
Select the time you want the notifications to display from the drop-down menu under Show notifications for.
That is all you need to do!
Go here if you want to find out how to set Windows 7 notification dialog boxes to stay open longer.
