Cartoon : Windows & OSX reaction to Google Chrome OS.

July 10th, 2009 . Filed under: General. Tags: ,

Microsoft has been the undisputed leader for operating systems with around a 90% odd market share. But with Google announcing the Chrome OS, an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks, many quickly want to believe that it will be the terminal blow to Microsoft.

Different people are reacting differently to Chrome OS’s news!

Check out this amusing cartoon from The Joy of Tech, which tries to explain how both Windows and OS X are reacting to the introduction of Google Chrome OS.

 chrome vs windows vs osx

While it may be too early to react or over-react, consumers will, for sure, welcome Googles challenge to Microsoft. But success of Chrome OS, will among other things depend on, how many will want their software and personal data to reside on the internet rather than their personal computers. Security & Privacy are other factors which may haunt Google Chrome OS.

What do you think?

Microsoft doesn’t care Apple Mac OSX but they are scared of open-source Linux. So I think Google Chrome OS is really a challenge for Microsoft.

What a world not only will google know your web dealings but they will also know your computers as well. And so far we know who our lovely private data will be sold too. Amazing MS gets stomped on regulators but Apple and Google can do ‘no evil’ amazing. All that info they have access too and nobody in oficialdom seems to concerned as to what they have access to and what they are selling you private info too.
P.S. – Sorry, forgot to tell you great post!
