The last time my pc was infected was last week when an A-squared scan told me my Codec pack was infected with some trojan. I deleted it off course.

I am interested in a free license. My computer was last infected 6 weeks ago.
Last time any form of infection on my own PC was about 3 -4 years ago. I attribute this to having good security software(s) on PC and regular scans.
Last infection was 3 -4 years ago. There have been a couple of false positives during that time though.
This is absolutely the best protection available. a-squared doesn’t lock down your system like some programs do, yet nothing gets through to your virus protection. It is verified for use with Windows 7 and is an excellent compliment with Microsoft Security Essentials.
The last time I had any malware on my system was about one week ago. I discovered it when I installed and scanned my system using ZoneAlarm Extreme beta.
The malware I discovered wasn’t much of one, however. I am glad for that.

The last time my PC was infected was by a drive-by that was posing as a legitimate site for spybot S&D iirc. I downloaded it thinking I was at the real site, and installed it and by the time I realized what happened it was too late. I had to restore from a backup that I luckily made a few days earlier but I had lost lots of time rolling everything back. It was a real pain. I learned that day you can’t even trust search results or sponsored links anymore!
I haven’t had malware for quite some time actually. I use a layered approach to security and would really enjoy having A-Squared Anti-Malware 4.5. I use A-Squared Free and have been very happy with it. Thanks for considering me in the A-Squared license giveaway. I hope I win!
Picked up maleware infection attached to a some free software. I no longer choose to run a program without first saving it the scanning it. As with TheBigOldDog I use windows home server that preforms a nightly backup, I was able to recover quickly enough but what a pain.

I can say little about active infection, because it may be infected now without me knowing: most malware operates in stealth these days. Last infection I detected was last November in a song downloaded from the internet, but it did no harm. Before that it was years ago: Bugbear in an email, but it was intercepted by my AV.
