Twitter is one of the most popular social networking sites because of its apps and the bunch of clients that connect to it. This improves the user experiences for the Tweeps. A user can connect with Twitter from Facebook and Google+. Now the user can also connect with Twitter from their Gmail account using an app called Twitter Gadget.
Twitter Gadget is a new tool that essentially allows you to have all of the main features of Twitter inside of Gmail as a Google Gadget. This allows the user to connect with the public timeline, which is auto refreshed every 3 minutes.
To connect Twitter inside Gmail, you should use Twitter Gadget in Gmail. Go to the top right corner of the Gmail window and click on Options Icon and Labs. Then click the Lab tab.
After clicking on the Labs tab the user has to scroll down until he comes across the section and enable the “Add any gadget by URL” feature.
Once you have done this, save the settings and then click on Gadgets tab. You will find an Inbox. Enter this URL link in there: http://www.twittergadget.com/gadget_gmail.xml and then click on the Add button. After adding it, Gmail will restart automatically.

Now the Gadget will appear in the column where contacts and many other Gmail folders are mentioned. A link to log in to the Twitter account will also be visible. You can authenticate your Twitter account, and slecet the “Remember me” check box if you wish to. Now you will have a Twitter Gadget in the left column of Gmail.
You can pop out the Gadget to open in a new window.
I hope this trick helps make things easier for you!
