Piles for Windows simplifies access to recently modified files in any directory you select, with two clicks!

It create a simple list, easily launched from taksbar, containing recently used files from a selected folder, and helps you quickly access your newest downloads & documents you worked on lately easily.

It integrates with Windows Explorer context menu – you can easily create pile from directory directly from Windows Explorer!

To open a pile, click on it’s icon in Taskbar (remember to pin it first!). Pile will open just above icon, and allow you access 13 recently modified files in selected directory.

Clicking on any item in the list will open selected file in associated program – just as it would open if you double-clicked it in Windows Explorer.

Piles for Windows work best when pinned to windows Taskbar, as the  program is designed to be an alternative way of pinning directories.

Although it lets you quickly open recently changed files, it can also is capable of easily opening the whole directory.
