A-Patch for Windows Live Messenger Wave 4 has been released. A-Patch is a freeware tool that lets you customize the visual appearance of your Windows Live Messenger.

Although it has much fewer tweaks than its earlier version, I am sure many will still find this app to be of interest!

This small install-free freeware version for Windows Live Messenger Wave 4 15.4.3502.0922 has the following options:

  • Remove advertisement from main window. At the moment it only removes the ad and not the space.
  • Remove text advertisement in the IM window.
  • Polygamy – open more than one Messenger at once.
  • Remove the “See More Offerings” items in the file menus.
  • Remove “Featured” section from the Emoticons “more” dialog box

    Yeah this was released pretty much the day Wave 4 was. Shame it’s nowhere near as powerful (thanks to Microsoft) as it once was.
