Apparently, Excel is like your girlfriend. There’s no living an office life without it, but it’s also been an object of your incessant swearing looking at the screen many a times. Love it or shout at it, you’ve been living with the, to borrow Bill Gates’s popular line, ‘magic of software’ for 25 years now using it to analyze, manage, and share data. Happy 25th, Excel!
Microsoft is celebrating Excel’s 25th anniversary, and everyone’s invited to share their enthusiasm and excel stories.
The Share your memory of Excel contest is designed to get passionate users engaged to share their Excel memories.
The contest gives existing fans an excuse to share their excitement. Winners are determined by getting friends to vote on submitted Excel memories.
Two winners of the contest will be selected on February 4, 2011 and will receive an XBOX + Kinect package.
